Hear is a word we heard from him for all of you on 6/2/26. Come rest in your First Love! You are not a grasshopper. You are His overcomer!
You underestimate what I do through you. Stop it. You are not a grasshopper compared to the giants in the land. The giants are less than grasshoppers compared to Me! Slow down, kneel down before Me. I will lift you up higher with me. Believe big, pray big, witness big with Me. Let’s go! Come up and take the land! I love you so.” Numbers 13, 14; Joshua 1; John 15! Bigtime! I am presently memorizing Rev 2:1-7 (First Love Perseverance)and Phil 4:4-13(Peace, Beauty, Strength from Christ) and am now working them into my personal prayers and my prayers for leaders, believers, and lost people! Please pray for Kim and me in this. We are praying for you! I’ve arrived at my list of 12 scripture passages to memorize and work into my prayers and witness with Him over the next six months. It’s been so good to look back with Him over my life to reflect on His transformative truths, and then sort through many passages, as he fires me up for the future. As an overseer of this ministry, for accountability and prayer support, here’s my list. (Ps 63, Phil 4:4-13; Rev 2 & 3; Ps 27; Matt 6; Col 3; Isaiah 58; 1 Cor 13; Eph 3; John 14 & 15; Romans 8; Matt 11:25-30) I am presently memorizing Rev 2:1-7 and Phil 4:4-13 and am now working them into my personal prayers and my prayers for leaders, believers, and lost people! “The Sword of the Spirit Homework Challenge” spreads! Thanks to those who are already sharing it personally and on social media! Someone in our local ministry sheepishly just said, “I’m sorry, I know this challenge has been going a month, but I’m just waking up to it. I’m so behind.” My response was, “Be at peace, that’s the beautiful thing about this. You’re not behind at all. Your 6 months doesn’t begin until you do!” 😊 He is graciously handing us all His plan for following CLOSE BEHIND HIM on a silver platter—for the next six months—for the rest of our lives! A Word of Counsel heard from Him 4/7/26. We continue to submit it to all the friends of Come Rest. “Listen to Me. Really listen. Shut out the noise. Tune in to Me. Prepare. Make a list of your 12 favorite scripture passages from over the years between you and Me. Do the work. Make the list. Memorize them over the next six months. Work My words into your prayers and your witness each new day I give you. I will help you. You will become a deeper listener, prayer intercessor, and doer of My word. Are you up to it? I am! I repeat–Listen to Me. Prepare. Do the work. I will help you. It will be worth it. My joy and peace will overflow, no matter what. Those around you will begin to listen, too. I love you so.” (Is 55; Ps 34; John 10 & 15)
