My heart overflows with a good theme. I recite my composition concerning the King. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Psalm 45:1
But the Lord said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock.?” Jonah 4:10-11
Dear Friends,
Yes, dear ones, the armed forces of the US & Israel have attacked the wicked rulers of Iran. Hold steady under His wing. Abide. Do not get distracted by wars and rumors of wars. He said these days would come. Most of you on our email list are not beginners with the Lord. Yet, we all must come up higher in the Spirit and become more discerning, lest we become distracted or even deceived in the days ahead. We ask the Lord to end the war quickly, bring wicked people to justice, and as many people as possible to repentance—in the name of Jesus! –
This is why the Lord called this ministry to dive into His heart by camping in Jonah. Two weeks ago we heard, “I am merciful. Ask Me to move in mercy.” Kim and I are now including this in our prayers, with a tongues as “ready pen” to speak of His truth and His light to people we meet. Last week we heard, “Stay before Me.” When we stay before Him, it’s called abiding, we are continually and intentionally choosing to fight off distractions and throw ourselves at Him in trust, scripture reading, praise, thanksgiving, praying in the Spirit in known and unknown tongues, and fasting. We encourage you to re-read Chapter 11 in our book COME UP, entitled The Voice. Receive, believe, and practice the sound teaching there. Pass it on to others. You do not need to be constantly looking into an electronic screen. You need to rest on His chest and listen for His voice in your own heart and in simple fellowship with true believers. Do not let the enemy rob, kill, and destroy your abiding in Jesus. Count it all joy, so you can enjoy His real presence in your heart, your life, your family. This afternoon, we are hearing Him say, “Hold steady.”
THEREFORE we pray, “Lord, help us hold steady before You. Come quickly. In the meantime, move in power to bring the wicked to Your justice. Move in mercy to bring as many people as possible to repentance—before it’s too late—in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
