Dear National and Local Friends,
These verses are coming in very strong right now. Hearing, “Hide in Me, not from Me.” Every once in a while, over the years, the Lord has told us to hide in Him. This is not an invitation, but command. He knows what’s coming down the road. It means He knows right now that we are willfully wavering; possibly stubbornly resisting, not resting in, His love and leading. It doesn’t mean stick your head in the sand ignoring the world; but it does mean forcing yourself to turn away from all worldliness and throw yourself at the Lord…and keep doing it, no matter how you feel…for the sake of the world around you. You are no good to the world, if you depend on how good the world is to you. Are you truly hiding in Him, or from Him? It’s not a rhetorical question. Turn to Him. Ask Him. He knows what’s coming. You will handle it much better if you stop keeping your distance like a mule, and start yielding and resting as His trusting child—now. He loves you so, layed down His life for you, is ready to guide and grow you. He will not help you hide from Him. He will help you hide in Him. Choose. “Lord, forgive me for any way I’ve been hiding from You. I don’t want to be like the mule. I want to be Your trusting child. I now hide in You. Help me stay hiding IN You! Amen!”
