The Lord has us diving into 1 Samuel chapters 21-24 this week, as well as continuing to pray meditate upon Ps 34. Vs 4 & 7 above are our memory/warfare prayer verses! Join us. You will see a note at the head of Psalm 34 in your bibles the Lord gave this prayer song to David during events 1 Samuel 21. Dive into His heart with us in these scriptures. Last Friday night at our worship gathering we heard Him say He would show all of us deep and practical connections on how to live our daily lives going forward. David was never perfect, but he was a man after His own heart, a man who so deeply and healthily feared the Lord that he would not dare harm Saul, the Lord’s anointed king. Even though Saul’s heart rebelled against the Lord and was hunting David down to kill him, David would not harm Saul.
In the tumultuous days ahead, may you and I fall so deeply in love with the Lord, and walk so deeply in fear of the Lord, that we will not dare breath a word or lift our hand to harm any born again brother or sister. Yet if we do, may we be quick to repent and do our part to smooth it out. Don’t let this email be a substitute for all the other things the Lord wants to show you directly in Psalm 34 and 1 Samuel. Do the work. Fear the Lord. Seek the Lord. You and I will discover Psalm 34: 4 & 7 are real.
